What is dentistry of the smile ???
Dentistry of the smile includes all treatments to brighten, improve and restore your smile !!!
Smile concerns : on the upper arch, first upper molar to first upper molar on the opposite side of the same arch (position, shape and color) but also their periodontal tissues : gum (papilla profile) and alveolar bone underneath the gum, on the lower arch mainly first premolar to first premolar on the opposite side of the same arch and, of course, their periodontal tissues.

no retraction of the gum with time passing, no exposition of any metallic cervical margin of the crown, a longer lasting, more reliable result

5) accuracy with temporary crowns, with their shapes, limits, margins, occlusion (contacts with other teeth) after drilling and reducing the teeth. It will condition the gum heath and the aesthetic result
6) new techniques to make final crowns through CAD / CAM : the plaster cast is scanned and a computer assisted machine makes it with every little detail and allows great precision, great adjustment, great reliability, great overall control and great aesthetic result !!!
7) new self-adhesive composite cements or glass ionomer cements reinforced with resin which make no more barrier to the light, have excellent biocompatibility, excellent adaptation, resistance and duration, help to decrease post-care sensitivity, have the same shade as the aesthetic crown
8) computer assisted / guided implantology which allows to replace the missing teeth, to preserve the bone crest and the gum level, the aesthetics and the function. Moreover implantology is an alternative to bridges which damage and weaken the side teeth and lead to gum attachment loss and alveolar bone defects.
